     I like this one because it is easy to see the contrast of popular opinion; of COURSE having scars is going to mar your appearance (more than likely) but this girl feels one of two ways: either her physical appearance is enhanced by scars, or she has a "what doesn't kill me" attitude about life. Both of thes attitudes are appealing to me.

Devastated, bounced back ( rubber soul) - Susan Breeden

     This appeals to me because I feel the same way many times, like I have thick skin or a "rubber soul". I really like this mentality, so this memoir jumped out at me.

Work less, party more, run faster.

    This is another one that jumped at me because I Really agree with it, I feel like everyone should just relax. Even if it's only a little bit.

   I didn't like any others :/

Blog#2- DO DA THINGS I GOTTA DO GOOD BETTER WELL.

     I have several strengths as a writer, but I have several weaknesses as well that seem to far outweigh the positives.  The first problem I have is volume, I can never seem to write enough, even if it's something I'm passionate about.  My length never seems to match my enthusiasm or the amount of required work. During our ten-minute exercises in class, I never seem able to punch out more than half a page, which is downright pitiful considering some of the cool ideas I have that never seem to be able to make it to paper.  Another thing I have to work on is variety.  I tend to write the same way every time I sit down to write and it may get boring for readers when I work in this fashion.  I do seem to be able to write about a diverse number of topics and make it interesting however, so I feel that doesn't really need any outside improvement from me, although every skill can technically be expanded upon infinitely.  My tone is always the same though, I always use a serious tone because it's most appealing to me, but I probably should expand my repertoire and use different tones to be more entertaining.

Blog #1 --- Welcome

     Hello and welcome to my blog! Within this blog I will attempt to log my attempts to become better at writing creatively. My strengths as a writer lay definitively in my ablility to effectively convey very creative stories and complicated plot lines easily. This comes at the cost of my ability to describe characters. It seems like no matter what I do, I cannot describe a character without stopping the entire story and breaking flow.  I hope to learn how to describe characters without breaking flow, and get better and describing things in general.  My favorite writer is Stephen King, hands down the best author out there. If you just let him type as long as he wants you will end up with a 1000 page story, but it will be a masterpieve. He has no idea how to end anything though. Ever.  My favorite type of writing to do is fiction, specifically horror.  I LOVE anything to do with horror, and writing horror especially because I have control over what is happpening, and as a horror buff I can effectively scare people who are used to the macabre and scary.  On my blog in the future you can expect to see a lot of writing assignments from my creative writing class, but also perhaps chapters from a novel that I am writing.
